Our grand finale event This Is Melanin is seeking vendors to participate in this historic event. We are only accepting a limited number of vendors.

We anticipate 800+ people to be in attendance. 

There is a fee to participate as a Vendor. If you are selected to participate, you will receive a follow up email and an invoice in the amount of $50

AGREEMENT
Event Participation Agreement for A Taste of Melanin:
This agreement is made and entered into by the undersigned participant, herein referred to as the Vendor, and the organizers of A Taste of Melanin, herein referred to as ATOM.



Event Details:
A Taste of Melanin is a rain or shine event. Vendor fees will not be refunded outside of the stated cancellation policy detailed below.



General Liability Insurance:
All food vendors are required to have general liability insurance. Vendors must instruct their insurance company to list The Zay Project and the relevant City Phoenix as additional insured parties.



Licenses and Permits:
Vendors are responsible for obtaining a City of Phoenix Transaction Privilege and Use Tax License, and any applicable Maricopa County and/or Arizona State Licensure(s). Compliance with health department rules and regulations is mandatory. For inquiries, contact the respective departments.



Food Permits & Licenses:
Food vendors serving Hot or Cold food for consumption at or near the event must obtain the necessary permits and licenses.


EQUIPMENT:
Vendor fees include one (1) table and two (2-3) chairs. No electrical access will be provided. Vendors requiring electricity must provide their own generators.



SET UP:
Vendors may access the event venue for setup at 1:00 pm on the event date, or as otherwise specified. Setup must be completed by 4:30 pm.



TEAR DOWN:
Vendors are required to participate in the entire event and should not initiate the breakdown of their setup before 9:00 pm.



INDEMNIFICATION:
ATOM, its agents, employees, volunteers, and the City of Phoenix are not liable for any loss, theft, or damages during the event or its setup and teardown.



CLEAN UP:
Vendors are responsible for the general cleanup of their designated space. Provided tables and chairs must be left in place. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from future ATOM events.



PARKING:
Food truck vendors will receive information regarding designated parking areas on the event premises. No parking spots will be reserved for vendors. Informational vendors will be provided details closer to the event date.



PHOTO RELEASE:
The undersigned consents to ATOM to capture photographs, audio recordings, and/or video footage of themselves or their organization for promotional purposes at A Taste of Melanin. The undersigned waives any claims for content approval or damages arising from the use of these materials.
